It began with a desire to create a supportive space for young women. After a life-altering incident triggered PTSD, I embarked on a personal journey, empowering myself and others through “13 Days of Fierce Gratitude.”
Determined to destigmatize mental health, I hosted events and launched digital campaigns, focusing on gender-based violence and mental well-being intersectionality.
Joining the government, I collaborated to elevate mental health on the national agenda, providing vital resources during the COVID-19 pandemic. Together, we’ve shaped policies to revolutionize mental health care.
As board chair of Nivishe Foundation, I continue advocating and extending gratitude to supporters. Let’s ensure everyone knows: It’s okay not to be okay. Together, we can make a difference, one conversation at a time.
